Review by hotel critic
During my stay at B&B Wijk Aan Duin, I was pleasantly surprised by the value this quaint retreat offers. The location is superb, allowing easy access to the beach and nearby amenities. Han, the accommodating host, promptly assisted us with a faulty bike, exemplifying attentive service.Indulging in the self-catering facilities, the well-equipped kitchen was a definite highlight. The room exuded comfort with ample space and a spotless bathroom. Although the decor was modest, the essentials were provided, including ironing facilities and free toiletries. The complimentary breakfast, featuring a variety of items like fresh fruit and cold meats, was a thoughtful touch. The outdoor dining area and garden provided a serene setting for morning meals. While the accommodation is more functional than luxurious, the reasonable pricing undoubtedly reflects the overall value. If you seek a no-frills stay with great proximity to nature, B&B Wijk Aan Duin delivers a solid option without breaking the bank.
